In an official Twitter blog post made today, Twitter announced a “new profile experience for iPhone”.
This is our biggest update to profiles to date, and we hope you enjoy what’s new. Featuring a fresh design, the updated profiles focus on your bio, Tweets and photos, making it easy for you to get a glimpse into the people you care about on Twitter.
One of the most notable features is that the user bio now shows as soon as you visit a users profile. You no longer have to swipe to the left to view this. Other features include a fresh new interface, and a top tab bar with focus on “Tweets”, “Photos” and “Favourites”.
Interactive Twitter Notifications
In the new update, Twitter has also taken advantage of the new “interactive notifications” feature in iOS 8. You will now be able to directly interact with push notifications from the app in iOS 8, performing actions such as Retweeting, favoriting and more.
The new Twitter for iPhone update is available from the updates section in the App Store, or as a free download if you do not have the app.
