In this video, he demonstrates how he was able to run a web browser on the device, despite this functionality not being included by default. Now the app is definitely not usable or user-friendly by any means, but it is a proof of concept. This demonstrates the possibility for arbitrary code to be executed on the Apple watch, and definitely fares well for a possible jailbreak in the future. Can you imagine the possibilities of a jailbroken Apple Watch?
Comex insists that his web browser is not “just an app”, and that the working of the Apple Watch OS are a bit more complicated than that.

Of course the Apple Watch hasn’t even launched here in South Africa yet, but at this rate, we may even see a jailbreak in the near future after it has launched locally!
