After reports surfaced the net on the iPhone 6 Plus having bent in users front pockets, a video on YouTube actually demonstrates the process.
A user on MacRumours shares his experience:
Yesterday, I left at 10am with the iPhone in my left FRONT pocket of my suit pants. I drove 4 hours to a wedding, which also involved a lot of sitting during dinner etc but also 2-3 hours of dancing. I left at 2am and went to bed, driving home 4 hours back.
Another user posts a similar story:
My friends did the same thing. Put it in his front pocket and it was like this when he took it out after getting in the car.
A video posted on YouTube demonstrates just how possible it is to bend the iPhone 6 Plus with your bear hands
According to the video, the weak spot of the device seems to be towards the upper section of the device, more specifically at the volume buttons.
Apple has yet to make an official comment on the matter, with some users devices being replaced at stores while others getting turned away.
