After the recent local iPhone 5 release date announcement, some network providers have started accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 5.
The iPhone 5 will officially be available on all 4 major South African cellular networks (Vodacom, MTN, CellC and 8ta).
At the moment, only Vodacom and CellC have opened up their pre-order forms, but according to MyBroadband, MTN and 8ta have promised theirs soon! We will update the list below once these are available.
You can find the latest pre-order links below to make sure you stand a chance at snapping up one of these at launch!
MTN – Promised a pre-order form soon!
8ta – No pre-order form available yet, however it is advertised on their website.
– Vodacom is only accepting Contract pre-orders for the 16GB device only. Other devices will be available at launch in store only. The RRP for the prepaid devices also recently leaked if you are not interested in a contract.
– It doesn’t seem like CellC lets you specify which device you want to order, or if it will be for contract or prepaid. So this seems like more of a waiting list than a pre-order.
– MTN has promised that they will have a pre-order form up soon. Stay tuned!
– 8ta has advertised the iPhone 5 on their site (http://www.8ta.com/) however there is no pre-order form available yet.Share This:
